We seek to be the hands and feet of Jesus outside the walls and beyond Sunday morning. Our youth go on annual missions trips and we offer regular opportunities to serve in the community for all who desire to live out God’s calling on their lives.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of god’s grace in its various forms.” – 1 Peter 4:10
Service to the Lord can take place inside our walls and outside. There are many ways to serve on a Sunday morning either in the preparation of or during the service. If you are interested in helping or want to learn more, please contact us at info@sanctuarychurch.org or 215-699-9331.
In this age of technology, we try to enhance our worship experience with visual graphics and sound system. The dedicated group involved in this ministry prepares the material needed each Sunday on a weekly basis as well as for any special events that may need the equipment for programming.
We can always use help with our tech team. If you are willing to learn, we are willing to teach!
Preparing for Communion, changing paraments, providing flowers, making coffee and setting out goodies in our Holy Grounds Café are just a few of the ways people can serve on Sundays.
Many hands make light work! Join this team as we prepare for worship Sunday morning.
The gift of teaching is celebrated and cultivated. We are always looking for volunteers to help teach Sunday School, lead Youth, VBS and Adult studies.
We have many needs to help support the Christian education and development of our children:
A sign in our lobby visible as you leave the building says You are now entering the Mission Field Be the church, Live Christ, Give Hope. We live in a hurting world, we don’t have to travel overseas to encounter those who need to feel the love of Christ.
Locally, we partner with several organizations to participate in a variety of activities. Groups like Manna on Main, Chosen 300, Family Promise of Montgomery County and Habitat for Humanity are a few of the organizations we support. We are blessed, so that we can bless others.
Opportunities will be posted on our events calendar as they are available. Outreach volunteer opportunities are also listed in the “Hands & Feet” displays found in the Main Lobby and the Fellowship Center.
We are to be the hands and feet of Jesus. Those called into the mission work of Sanctuary use their gifts, muscles, and treasure to further God’s work in the community and beyond. Mission opportunities here in our backyard and in other areas of the country and the world are available for those with a passion for serving those in need. One example of how Sanctuary reaches beyond its walls is the annual youth summer mission trip. Youth and their leaders form life lasting bonds while working together to improve the lives of others.
Come celebrate with us at our 9:15am Traditional Service or 10:30 am Praise and Worship Service.
