Sanctuary Church Preschool
Established in 1971, the mission of Sanctuary Church Preschool is to help the pre-school child develop spiritually, mentally, physically, and socially in a Christian atmosphere. The teachers will work with the child both as an individual and as a member of the group. We offer small class size and emphasize that learning is fun!
Three-Year-Old Class
Children entering this class must be 3 years old by September 1st. The 3-year-old students attend Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from 9:30am-12:30pm. Our 3’s are learning all aspects of a school day, including free play, craft, lesson, stories, and music; each relating to the topic of the day.
Four Year/ Pre-K Class
Children entering this class must be 4 years old by September 1st. The 4’s/Pre-K students attend Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. We offer two programs: Half Day (9:30am-12:30pm) or Full Day (9:30am-2:30pm).
The children’s morning includes small group and large group teacher directed activities, crafts, week themed lessons, stories and music, all correlating to the topic of the week. The class will also go on several field trips throughout the year upon completion of themed units. The afternoon program expands upon the morning lessons as well as refining small motor skills needed for kindergarten. Our goal is to help the children develop academic skills, independence and confidence needed for success in kindergarten.
