Upper Gwynedd Township, through the Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy, will be hosting a Rain Barrel Workshop on Thursday, June 15th at 6:30pm. The event will be held at Upper Gwynedd Township, 1 Parkside Place, North Wales, PA near the Gazebo or under the Pavilion if it’s raining.
About the event: Rain barrels are containers that collect and store rain water from your downspouts to be used for watering plants, cleaning yard equipment, or topping off a swimming pool. All of the necessary supplies for making the rain barrel will be provided and a Perkiomen Watershed Conservancy Coordinator will walk you through the steps of putting your rain barrel together.
This event is limited to the first 15 residents who register for barrels, so make sure to register today! To register, visit: https://ugtparks.recdesk.com/Community/Home. Click either Sign in or Create an account, then click programs and you’ll find it under the Adult Program section.
Thanks to the EAC, the cost to participate has been reduced to $35 per barrel as they are subsidizing this event. Please note the event is limited to UGT residents only.
