We provide the sound, video camera operation, graphics presentations and video presentations used during the various worship activities at Sanctuary. We also work with the various worship groups to support rehearsals, lighting and audio requirements. The Tech Team will often accompany the Praise and Worship Band to other churches and public events to provide audio and graphic presentation assistance.

Technical Services creates most of the graphic visual materials used during the Sunday services and is responsible for the audio recording of the message at all three Sunday services. We also provide similar support for other events, when requested, such as for special services, weddings, funerals, memorial services, Interfaith and Bighouse activities.


Midweek help: Creating graphics for words (Tuesday evenings), putting sermon notes into display format (Friday mornings), creating labels, making audio labels, or duplicating CDs, DVDs or cassettes.

Sunday morning help: Operating the soundboard, graphic scrolling, or video camera, or making cassette copies of the service. You can sign up to help with any of our three services.

Equipment manager: Checks microphone batteries and ensures that equipment components (e.g. electrical cords) are put in their proper places.

Our website conveys the life, activity and mission of Sanctuary UMC both for it's congregation and anyone seeking information about our church.

The website team maintains and updates the Sanctuary UMC website. The time commitment varies, but usually each person is assigned a month at a time.
