year old, a four year old and a pre-kindergarten program.
mission
The mission of Sanctuary Nursery School is to help the pre-school child develop spiritually, mentally, physically and socially in a Christian atmosphere. The teachers will work with the child both as an individual and as a member of the group. We offer small class size and emphasize that learning is fun. We use North Penn School District's September 15th as our cutoff for each class.
three year old class
The 3 year old students attend on Mondays and Fridays from 9:30 a.m.—12:00 noon. The school year begins the Monday following Labor Day and ends the Friday prior to Memorial Day.
Opportunities are provided for independent and teacher directed activities. Stories, music, crafts and free play are generally related to the lesson for the day.
Four year old class
The 4 year old child attends on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 9:30 a.m.—12:00 noon. The school year begins the second Tuesday after Labor Day and concludes on the Thursday before Memorial Day.
The students will have experiences:
to develop in small and large group instruction.
to develop learning skills.
develop confidence in their abilities.
Most activities will be related to the topic for the day.
pre-kindergaRTen class
Children entering this class must be 5 years old by May 1st. The class meets on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 9:30 a.m.—2:30 p.m. Class will start the Tuesday after Labor Day and end on the Thursday before Memorial Day.
The Pre-K program will emphasize academic and socials skill development for Kindergarten readiness.
