Lay Column

Dear Sanctuary Friends,
I hope many of you have heard some discussions about a "Vision Team" being formed. Through the generosity and wishes of a gift given to Sanctuary, the consulting firm of Easum & Bandy (www.easumbandy.com) has been retained to help guide us in further developing and executing our vision for Sanctuary. Your Vision Team is:

Austin Hodge, Denis Buehler, Laura Welch, Barbara Dudas, Frank Johnston, Nancy Vignau, Bob Powers, Glenn Hegel, Sue Smith, Brian Engemann, Harry Borchers, Tammy Johnston, Chuck Baer, Janet Vasey, Tom Work, Cindy Brophy, Jim Carver, Wendy Long, Dave Carlin, John Ernst

The name Easum & Bandy may be familiar to some of you as this was an organization tapped into for support in the past. We will be addressing present day challenges and future opportunities that lay ahead for our church family. We've already begun preparing for Tom Bandy's visit to Sanctuary on February 22nd - February 24th. Involvement and participation from all members of Sanctuary will be sought after and encouraged as we make this journey together. On SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 23rd there will be an all church meeting with Tom Bandy open to all members - watch for details.

Proverbs 21:5 - "The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance, but everyone who is hasty comes only to poverty."

The mission of Sanctuary is to bring, nurture and send people into the world as Disciples of Christ.
The vision is for Sanctuary to be a safe place where all people are invited to discover the love of Christ; where God's timeless truths nurture us; where we by our gifts and graces care for one another; and where heart-felt worship, prayer and genuine relational community prepare us to reach out beyond our walls with compassion to those in any kind of need.

As your Lay Leader, I'm here for each and every one of you. So, don't hesitate stop me on a Sunday morning or call/e-mail me during the week (Tel: 215-256-9540 / brian.engemann@innoprint.com) to share your thoughts about Sanctuary with me.

In His name and your service,
Brian Engemann
