Chancel Choir


The Chancel Choir is a volunteer traditional four-part adult choir that sings at both the 8:00 and 11:00 services on Sunday mornings. Their repertoire includes selections from classical and contemporary composers in a variety of traditional religious genres. They hold practice Thursday evenings at 8:00 pm. There are no entrance requirements other than the love of singing and regular attendance at rehearsals.

Praise Band


Sanctuary's Praise Band is a volunteer group that performs at the 9:30 service Sunday mornings. There is mandatory practice on Tuesday evenings from 7:00-9:00 pm. The band consists of electric and acoustic guitars, keyboards, drums, bass and vocalists. Band members are expected to be able to read either music or chord charts and be proficient in their musical ability. Auditions are required for this group.

Carol Choir


The carol choir is geared toward children age 4 through second grade. During rehearsals, the children read Bible stories, sing songs, play rhythm and melody instruments, and learn basic elements of music, such as pitch matching and rhythm. Rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings from 6:15 to 7:00 pm. The choir performs at the 11:00 service approximately once a month.

Junior Choir


The Junior Choir is for children in grades 3 through 6. Focus at rehearsals includes more advanced vocal techniques such as pitch, range and part singing, as well as improving music reading skills. Opportunities are available to sing solos and participate in small ensembles for our Sunday morning anthems. There is ample time during rehearsal for music games and movement activities. The Junior Choir presents a yearly Christmas Eve Pageant as well as a bi-annual church musical. As with the Carol Choir, the Junior Choir sings once a month at the 11:00 service. They practice Sunday evenings, 5:00-6:00 pm.

Bells of Joy


This beginning children's handbell group is for grades 4 through 6. They play a variety of anthems while learning basic bell techniques and music notation. They participate in a yearly children's bell choir festival, consisting of young ringers from local churches in the North Penn area. This group rehearses every Sunday from 6:00 - 7:00 pm. They play periodically in the 11:00 worship service on Sunday mornings.

Capriccio Youth Bell Ensemble


This choir is aimed toward older youth of middle and high school age who have some musical ability and would like the challenge of ringing more difficult pieces, while refining their ringing skills and trying out advanced techniques. They play on occasion in the 11:00 worship service on Sunday, sharing both known sacred music as well as original works. Rehearsals are held from 12:00 - 1:00 pm, following the 11:00 worship service on Sundays.

The Herald Ringers


This handbell choir is for adults. They ring on 4 octaves of Schulmerich handbells and also have a 2-octave set of handchimes. In addition to the full choir, opportunities to ring in an ensemble or duet are also available. The ability to read music for this group is helpful, but not essential. In addition to playing in the 11:00 worship service, they also share their music in the community and participate in an annual local handbell festival. Rehearsals are held Wednesday evenings from 7:30-9:00.
