Vacation Bible School
This year our theme will be “Power Lab - Discovering Jesus' Miraculous Power” and will run in August from the 24th through the 28th, 6:30 to 8:15 pm. For those interested in having their children and friends' children attend, a registration form is enclosed in the July/August Newsletter or can be obtained from the showcase in the narthex.

Welcome Janis Zimmerman
Exciting things are happening in the CHRISTIAN EDUCATION Department here at Sanctuary!!!! Janis Zimmerman, our new Director of Children's Ministry, will be joining us in July. Janis brings with her experience and enthusiasm as she becomes part of the Sanctuary family.

Summer Bible Study
This summer there will be a bible study on the book of James. James has 5 chapters, so hopefully we can do a chapter a week. There will be a Monday night study at 7:00 pm and a Tuesday morning study at 10:00 am. We will meet in the parsonage (and if nice enough out on the patio). Sign up is in the narthex on the sheet posted on the bulletin board. Space is limited to the first 22 people. The study will begin July 28th (Monday night group); July 29th (Tuesday morning group). It Takes a Church
This publication is the collection of God moment stories from our church family, and is available after worship and during the week from the church office. Purchase your copy now! Price per copy is $10.95.

Interfaith
This year, we will be sharing the hosting of families with Jarrettown UMC. We will host families for the first half of the month of August (August 1st through the 16th). Your help is needed!!!! Sign up sheets according to work area are posted on bulletin board in the narthex!

Summer Music
With the lazy days of summer ahead of us our choir will take a well-deserved rest. We ask members of the congregation to share their musical gifts by signing up to do an anthem at one of the summer Sunday services. A sign up sheet is posted in the narthex on the bulletin board.
