"Use your money to do good. Be rich in good works and give generously to those
in need, always being ready to share with others whatever God has given. By doing this
you will be storing up treasure as a good foundation for the coming age so that you
may take hold of the life that is truly life."

Christmas Bazaar and Roast Beef Dinner
Sanctuary's Christmas Bazaar and Roast Beef Dinner will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2009. In prior years, this wonderful event generated over $10,000 in proceeds to various local organizations and we hope to continue to support Sanctuary's growth and community outreach through this affair. Committee chairpersons are seeking help as they finalize their plans!- Attic Treasures - Is there anything clean and saleable lurking in your attic, basement or dining room? Dishes, glasses, linens, silverware, etc all is needed. Search out spring decorations, someone will love them! Think 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas too! (No clothes or furniture.) Collections will begin the week prior to the Bazaar. If you'd like to help sort contact Eileen Rueckert
- Bake Sale - bakers needed!! Please contact Kristin Donehower with questions and/or donation pledges.
- Books - We are collecting reasonably current paperback/hardback books, books on tape, music CD/cassette tapes, DVD's, Cliff Notes/Spark Notes, children's books, cook books, Bibles, wall maps, posters, globes, sheet music, and adult puzzles. Help out Sanctuary's bazaar by donating these items in the bins marked Books Etc. in the rear of the social hall.
- Candy Table - Seeking people to donate homemade candy, donate supplies to make and package candy, and workers to man the candy table on bazaar day. Candy recipes can be found in the narthex or can be received by contacting Lisa Nash.
