Sanctuary United Methodist Men
To assist men in knowing Jesus Christ,
serving Him, growing spiritually and daily seeking
to do His will.
SUMM participants carry out activities individually or in small groups on short notice to meet the needs of our church. Meeting together with the entire group is not a high priority. We are flexible when it comes to serving the Lord. A phone call, hallway discussion on Sunday morning, or an e-mail all serve as means of communication. We encourage the "Git er done" philosophy, serving anywhere there is need, such as the bazaar, missions, rummage sale, picnics and suppers. SUMM, under the guidance of the Missions team leaders, has led the summer youth mission trips for a number of years.
Wednesday Morning Breakfast: SUMM meets
every Wednesday morning at 6:45 a.m. at Franconi's
Restaurant for breakfast, fellowship and prayer.
We share concerns, joys and needs of the group
members and our greater Church family. We
frequently provide private help to Sanctuary members
in times of special needs as identified during our
sharing of concerns and Pastor's requests. Meetings
are held throughout the year.
Sunday Brunch: SUMM, along with the BIGHOUSE youth, sponsors brunches to provide fellowship, along with a great meal, for congregants following all three worship services on selected Sundays about 5 times during the year. Free will offerings from the brunches, when taken, typically support mission trips and youth programs.

N-JOY
To provide an opportunity for fellowship
in a Christian environment for senior adults.
N-JOY stands for Nurturing Joyful Older Youngsters! Organized by Sanctuary members, this group is open to the community as an outreach program. Meetings held at the church include a luncheon, business meeting and program. Bus trips are also planned and taken to varied locations such as Lancaster and Longwood Gardens. Luncheons and programs are held on the fourth Tuesday of the month, six times a year. The group meets in the Social Hall from 12 noon - 1:30 p.m. Trips may be taken in place of the luncheon.

Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?
A fellowship and dining opportunity for adults.
This casual night out with good food is a great opportunity to meet and participate in fellowship with other people in the church. The host will provide the main dish, seating and beverages. The guests will bring a vegetable, salad or dessert. The surprise is: the guests are called earlier that day as to the location of the dinner and the host is called and told who's coming to dinner just before the guests arrive! Dinners take place three or four times a year.
Inspired View Book Club
This book club is an opportunity for women to fellowship in an open and informal discussion of fiction and nonfiction Christian books. All are welcome as this group reaches out into the community. The group meets the third Monday of the month at 7:30 p.m. at the Montgomeryville Barnes & Noble bookstore. See the schedules and synopsis on our Women's Ministry Page.
